We are pleased to announce that Latina/o Studies at OSU awarded four travel grants for research in Latina/o Studies to OSU graduate students in 2014: 
 
Verónica Betancourt, Ph.D. student in Arts Administration, Education and Policy for support of research titled "Space, Place, and Latinidad: An Interdisciplinary Investigation of Museums, Activisms, and Recreation in Latino Identity Formation." 
 
Julia Elmer, Ph.D. student in City and Regional Planning, School of Architecture for support of research on "Neighborhood Impacts of Hispanic-Owned Businesses in Three Ohio Cities." 
 
Delia Fernandez, Ph.D. student in History for support of research titled "Space, Place, and Latinidad: An Interdisciplinary Investigation of Museums, Activisms, and Recreation in Latino Identity Formation." 
 
Nic Flores, Ph.D. student in Comparative Studies for support of research titled  "Between Brown and Queer: New Work on Latino Masculinities and Sexualities."
